Publication Ethics & Publication Malpractice Statement

Mustard Journal De Ecobusin [e-ISSN: 3048-1538] is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal that publishes research in the fields of economics, business, and entrepreneurship. The journal covers a broad range of topics including entrepreneurship, strategic alliances, microeconomics, behavioral and health economics, government regulation, taxation, macroeconomics, financial markets, investment, banking, international economics, foreign direct investment, economic development, environmental studies, urban issues, emerging markets, and empirical, quantitative, and experimental research methods.

This publication ethics statement outlines the standards of ethical behavior expected of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher. This statement is based on the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Editor Ethics

  1. Editors are responsible for managing and ensuring a fair, transparent, and objective review process. Editors have full authority to accept or reject manuscripts based on their academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  2. Editors must evaluate manuscripts without discrimination regarding gender, ethnicity, religion, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.
  3. Editors and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any information about a manuscript except to the corresponding author, reviewers, or publisher as appropriate.
  4. Editors must ensure that all submitted manuscripts undergo a proper peer-review process and that reviewers are selected based on expertise and independence.
  5. Editors must not use unpublished materials disclosed in submitted manuscripts for their own research without the author’s explicit written consent.
  6. Editors must provide clear guidelines for authors regarding manuscript preparation and submission.

Reviewer Ethics

  1. Reviewers assist editors in making editorial decisions and help improve the quality of manuscripts through constructive feedback.
  2. Reviewers must conduct reviews objectively, fairly, and professionally, without personal criticism of the author.
  3. Reviewers must complete their reviews within the specified timeframe and notify the editor if they are unable to do so.

Author Ethics
