Stakeholder involvement is essential for developing an effective school curriculum that responds to students’ needs and local conditions. This study examines stakeholder roles, participation, and supporting and inhibiting factors in school curriculum development in Probolinggo City, Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and relevant school documents. Data analysis involved data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that stakeholder involvement encompasses curriculum planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. Principals coordinate collaboration, while teachers contribute pedagogical expertise. Students, parents, school committees, local government, and community representatives provide input, resources, and contextual perspectives. Supporting factors include open leadership, effective communication, cooperation, and continuous evaluation. However, limited time, inadequate resources, inconsistent communication, differing perspectives, and unequal participation can constrain collaboration. The study concludes that sustained stakeholder engagement supports more participatory, relevant, contextual, and responsive curriculum development.
